Every three months, our Pastoral Care Team prepares lunch for seniors. The event is held in the vestibule of the church since it is our only accessible space. All registered parish members ages 65 and older receive an invitation in the mail and are asked to RSVP so that lunch can be planned; those with email also receive an email invitation. Transportation can be arranged by request. Attendees often bring a dish to share, although this is not necessary. St. Augustine senior parishioners are encouraged to bring family and friends to this great social event. Entertainment is always part of the afternoon, as well as Anointing of the Sick for those who wish it. For more information, contact Linda Prara-Jenkins.
